Gosford Hospital redevelopment

Gosford Hospital redevelopment commences.

A MAJOR  operation took place this week at Gosford Hospital, as bulldozers moved in to pave the way for a new state-of-the-art 11-storey building.

The brick structure – which used to house the hospital’s education centre – is the first building to be demolished, marking the start of major works for the $368 million redevelopment.

Seven more buildings, including the four-storey block which formerly housed the pathology unit, are due to be knocked down over the next three months.
